Last summer (2017) , Sheryl Jacson-Caron and a bunch of volunteers under the leadership of Vanesssa Nadeau from CRE Laurentides undertook a survey of aquatic plants on Curran Lake. They identified 18 species, more than in Clear Lake (10) but much less than on lake Louisa (25). A total of 44 species were found in the 44 lakes of Argenteuil surveyed so far.<\/p>\n

None of these plants are exotic or invasive.<\/p>\n

And as this map shows, plant density on Curran is low<\/p>\n
