If you attended our last Annual General Meeting you heard about the automated call
systems for municipalities, which allows them to quickly reach their citizens in the event of an
emergency situation. If you missed it, here’s how you can get notified of such an event
by your municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s quite simple. On the website of the municipality where you live, you can access to the registration form in 1 or 2 clicks. Once you have completed the form, the city will have your phone number allowing it to alert you to an important situation that requires your attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Please note that the name of these automated calling systems varies from one municipality to another.<\/p>\n\n\n

At Wentworth<\/strong> the system is called TELMATIK.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Lachute<\/strong>, it’s AUTOMATED CALL SYSTEM<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Gore <\/strong>the system is called TELMATIK MESSAGE EXPRESS<\/a>.

At Brownsburgh-Chatham<\/strong> it’s SOMUM: the Municipal Automated Calling and Texting
Service <\/a>.

So be proactive by signing up now for this service which can sometimes save you small and big problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
