Most of you must know It was a very good year, the famous song composed by Ervin Drake in 1961 and its moving interprétation by Frank Sinatra. Well, for this 14th Pray and Play, it was indeed a very good year!

  • First, the service at St.Paul’s was lively and refreshing as Rev’d Nick Brotherwood really knows how to make them.
  • Then at the golf course, 44 golfers gleefully teed of on a nice September day in search of the coveted St Paul’s Trophy.
  • And no less than 40 sponsors from families in Dunany to Lachute businesses and a few from Montreal gave generously to St Paul’s outreach program. Total collected: 21 000$: great news for the needy causes in our area.

And the winners for 2026 are: Careen Heggie, Barb Armstrong, Dorothy Hadley and Peggy Carol.

And let us not forget the 2025 winners!

Absent Nelia Marchant

There are lots of volunteers to thank but none more so than Volunteer in Chief Robert Percy who deploys so much energy to keep St.Paul’s financially healthy and able to help those in need.

And special thanks to June Parker who, in my absence, took the pictures that illustrate this article.

There will be a Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s on the 13th of October at  3:00 pm.
Retired Bishop Mary will be returning to St Paul’s to take the service .
All are Welcome.
