The state of our lakes

Since 2006, we have participated in the Réseau de Surveillance Volontaire des Lacs (RSVL) of the Quebec department of Environment. There are data on more than 700 lakes in Quebec, many of which are located in the Laurentians.

Water quality control in our lakes and the education of our residents are our ” raison d’être “. The first activity is particularly demanding. It is necessary to manage the collection of samples three times during the summer and measure the clarity at least ten times.

The data sheets produced yearly by the Ministry of the Environment are built from the information that we provide them, water samples and clarity measurements, and are in the public domain.

To make things simpler for you, I have added here the links to our latest charts.
