Sunday September 28 was a beautiful day! A perfect day for this 12th Pray and Play.
St.Paul’s Church was standing room only as if it were Christmas Eve.

The winners of last year’s Tournament were there to accept the trophy.

Sharon Leslie introduced this year’s Honorary Chairman, David Eramian, a long time Black Lake resident whom she has known all her life. David was very involved in the community, was president of the Dunany Country Club in 2010-11. Sharon then read the tribute from Bishop Mary Irwin-Gibson of the Anglican Church. Here is a short extract.
David has always been a cheerful supporter to me and in the work of our Diocese. What I most appreciate is his calm demeanour, dry wit and the perspective he has managed to keep on the goings on in the Diocese over these many years. He has managed to continue to find time for us even after he retired as a lawyer to take up full time playing golf and grandfathering.
With thanks to David for all that he has done, continues to do and will do for the Church.
And then on to the Dunany Country Club for a game of golf with a record number of participants and sponsors. I counted more than 40 signs.

And this year’s winner was: the Riviere Family.

Finally, you will be pleased to learn that this Pray and Play raised more 12 000$
An all time record.
Kudos to you Robert.
